Some of AAGS’ Current Projects

The members of AAGS keep very busy! Below are just a few of the projects we are currently working on. If you would like to help in creating change for CNY animals, please contact us at aags@twcny.rr.com. We would love to welcome you on board!

  • Change the Salina cat law to a humane and effective policy that saves taxpayer money.
  • Participate in the Animal Welfare Coalition’s Healthy Pet Clinics where low income families receive education and low cost health care for their pets.
  • Develop Cuse Pit Crew to promote the welfare and education regarding appropriate care of dogs, especially Pit Bulls, among inner city youth.
  • Participate in Animal Advocacy Day in Albany, NY to strengthen the animal cruelty and neglect laws and penalties. This year, Advocacy Day will be held on June 13, 2012.
  • Partner with the City of Syracuse to encourage higher licensing compliance rates.

  1. Have you ever considered writing an ebook or guest
authoring on other blogs? I have a blog based on the
same subjects you discuss and would really like to have you share some stories/information. I
know my readers would enjoy your work. If you’re even remotely interested, feel free to send me
    an email.
