We Interrupt This Story For a Word . . .

If you have been following the Salina story, you know it began in 2004. It has been a long, tiring, frustrating struggle to get this small town outside Syracuse in upstate New York to do the right thing.

In view of this account, one might be tempted, in fact, to conclude that Salina’s cat issues have consumed the attentions of this group to the exclusion of all others. We must say however,  that while this issue was the force that brought us together and around which we formed, our goals rapidly expanded to include the repairing of the holes in the safety net for animals in the entire central NY region.

Toward this end, we have simultaneously been tackling a variety of issues on a multitude of fronts. We would, however, for the sake of our readers’ sanity, like to remain with the Salina story – being the most involved and convoluted – until we bring you up to date. We hope this will make it easier to follow, and make the account more understandable in the end. Please bear with us.

  1. After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment
is added I recieve four emails with the same comment.
There has to be an easy method you are able to remove me from that service?
    Many thanks!
